- (sa) abhijñā, or (sa) ṣaḍ abhijñā. The six supernatural or universal powers acquired by a Buddha, also by an arhat through the fourth degree of (sa) dhyāna. The 'southern' Buddhists only have the first five, which are also known in China; v. [lang id =1028]五神通; the sixth is [lang id =1028]漏盡通 ([lang id =1028]漏盡智證通) āsravakṣaya-jñāna, supernatural consciousness of the waning of vicious propensities.* * *三乘聖者所得到的神通一共有六種, 即天眼通、 天耳通、 他心通、 宿命通、 神足通、 漏盡通。
